1) Of all the things we've done this year, which are the most useful to this point and important up to this point?
There are a few things that I use till this point, which I had learned through the years. After learning to use Microsoft Excel, I've used it a few times to make charts and graphs. I also use flash, now that I know how to use it I play with it on my spare time. Microtype is program that increased my typing skills and now I type much faster than before. Those are my most impotant and useful things I've learned.

2)What do you WANT to learn about computers in the last 9 weeks?
In the last 9 weeks I would like to learn how to create a website, a program, or internet games.

More video games, fewer books at schools?

This proposal to increase video game in school is a very good idea. Of course there won't be any violent game, just educational ones. This will get many students into learning and I know this will work from experience in 8th grade science. Our class had played the virtual game by Sasha Barab, in which we had to find to problem in the town. There were sicknesses, dirty water, dirty sewers, and other thing to solve. We would each have an avatar and we would be able to walk around town, talk to people, read records, and step by step we would find the reason for all the problems and fix it. In the end we all had learned a lot from the program and we had fun. Games like this will keep us entertained and wanting to learn.

Ethical questions

Was the developers ethical?
I think what they did is wrong, but what can you do about it. The original owners didn't about what they can do with the land and they just sold it to the developers for only 7.2 million, while the developers made much more money from the land. To me this is ethical, they didn't break any laws, they were just clever by know the law.
How can this be avoided in the future?
This can be avoided by knowing what you can do when something like this happens instead of just selling it. You can use a lobbist like what the developers did. You can also avoid buying property that will cause you problems.

I think this is a very good idea for people who lend a lot of money and forget things easily. I wouldn't us it my self becuse I don't pay any rent or use my money to much. Also, when I lend my money to people, I usually don't forget. I can keep track of my money usage with out this idea. This idea could be useful to adults and small companies, but this could be a wastes of time to some people because you have to login and have the time to type in your money usage.

Movie critic

One of my favorite movies.
"The prestige" is one of the best movies in 2006, in my opinion. Because this movie has an interesting plot, it has drama, fantasy, and it a thriller. As the commercials say it’s "a friendship that became a rivalry...a rivalry that became a battle." Rival magicians in London, battle each other to create the best magic tricks and trade secrets. The rivalry is so extreme that it turns them into murderers. They were full of obsession, deceit and jealousy with dangerous and deadly consequences. From the time that they first met as young magicians on the rise, Robert Angier and Alfred Borden were competitors. However, their friendly competition evolves into a bitter rivalry making them fierce enemies for life and consequently risking the lives of everyone around them.

How can a system be designed so students care more for learning?

To make student care more about learning we could make school much more interactive with computer programs and presentations that will help student understand difficult topics. We could also use alot of repetition so that students will remember and get the important infromation in their head, instead of giving up and going on to another topic.
