3) Do you think her use of this is hurting her ratings? No, I think her use of product placement is not hurting her ratings because viewers can get information about the featured product and the product can actually help that person. It would be hurting her ratings if she had spent more time featuring the products.

4)What do you think of product placement? I think it a win win situation between the TV show and the company paying for the product placement. The show is being paid to feature a product and the companies are getting profit from advertising their product with a famous person using it.

Reading books online and offline

1)What has changed with the book search? "Now when you search you'll get both digitized book results as well as records for millions of other books that still just exist in the analog world."

2)Do you think people will still be reading books in 10 years? Why or why not? I think that books will still be read in 10 years but only very little amount of people. Since there are schools and colleges there most likely will be people reading books because the cost to supply the whole school or college with computers will be costly, books, however, is less money.

3)How long do you currently read online per day (in hours)? How long do you currently read offline per day (in hours)? I would say that I read about an hour and a half online per day and about half an hour of reading offline.

Linux vs. Microsoft

1)According to this obviously biased site, when should people stick with Windows? Most proprietary software does not run within Linux, while Microsoft does. A lot of games are only compatible with windows, so if your a harecore gamer you should stick with Windows. Also if your in the book/ printing industry beause its features are not as good as windows. Finally, very recent and new hardware are sometimes not yet supported by Linux.

2)Which are the three most compelling reasons to migrate to Linux, according to the web site ? Elaborate on each. First of all, Linux is much more secured then Microsoft, so you can forget about viruses. Additionally, this operating system is absolutely free. Lastly, Linux does not get slower and slower everyday becuase its stable. Linux lets you spend more time working, less time reinstalling over and over again.

Watch out: Here comes $4 gasoline-
Gasoline prices were expected to peak below $3 a gallon, but there has been problem with the refinery and big demands could push prices higher. According to one industry expert gas prices could charge higher this summer, up to $4 a gallon in some places. Already, prices have gone up and above $3 in some states. According to the Energy Department’s price forecast, it was expected that gas prices would peak below $3 a gallon this May and later drop before summer driving season got stared.

Wall Street's other record breaker-
The Dow Jones industrial average has been enjoying its longest up streak in 80 years, and has chalked up 20 record closings in 2007 alone, after first taking out its all-time high from 2000 more than six months ago. And yes, the Dow is arguably the most famous U.S. stock index, watched and spoken of around the globe.
