1) Biomedical Engineering- is the use of engineering principles and techniques to the medical field. It combines the design and problem solving skill of engineering with the medical knowledge of physicians to help improve patient health care and the quality of life of healthy individuals. As a relatively new discipline, much of the work in biomedical engineering consists of research and development, covering an collection of fields: bioinformatics, medical imaging, image processing, physiological signal processing, biomechanics, biomaterials and bioengineering, systems analysis, 3-D modeling, etc. Examples of real applications of biomedical engineering are the development and manufacture of biocompatible prostheses, medical devices, diagnostic devices and imaging equipment such as MRIs and EEGs, and pharmaceutical drugs.

Small or big business
- Blog-I think blog for a business isn't a big necesity, you can just use your company website instead of wasting time.
- Web Site- This is apropriate for both a small and big business because you need to give information to customers or else business will be small.
- FTP- Denpending on the type of company you have you will need this for both. If you need to keep information private a within your company then you'll need this, but it's not necessary for a small business because no one will want to take from small business and it not worth the money.
- HTTP- This is good for both because customers will be able to see you webpage and they can be informed of recent things.
- Web services- this is relevent to both a big and small business depending on the type of business because some websites might be based on web services.
- Podcasts-A big business could use this for their company to attrack customers.
- RSS feeds- Both types of business can benefit from this because you can give information to loyal customers.
- VOIP- This won't be very useful unless a lot more people and companies used VOIPs because who are you going to contact if not many people use VOIPs. But this would save a lot of money for both types of business if you need to only contact people who use VOIPs.
- Web mail- This needed for both because a business needs to know what their customers opinions.
- Web browser: Firefox vs. Internet Explorer- Both of these browsers will get the same thing done for both a big and small business.
